reading these three articles about college, I would have to agree with the message that the articles are projecting. In college degrees more expensive, the article talked about the amount of money a student would put into a degree that's not valuable. I agree because today in order to get a well paying job you will need to obtain either a masters or a doctorate degree. The reason why I say this is because there are so many people who are receiving bachelor degrees and with the competition so high it is harder to differentiate if almost everybody has the same thing. I also agree that just because you received a four year degree does not necessarily make you smarter than a person who received a high school diploma, it just means you achieved more schooling than that person. I believe with the tuition of a degree being so high, it would almost be worthless if you can't find a nice paying job once you do graduate.
In should more people skip college I disagree that that some people should just skip college and just go straight into the workforce. The reason why I say this is because even if you don't need a degree to obtain the job, I believe you are limiting yourself to less opportunities if you do not at lease try to go to college. I believe there are more doors open to you if you get a college degree and even now those opportunities are slowly closing. So not even getting a degree at all in my opinion would be bad. I believe a person would not want to be limited to just one career even if that career pays well. With a college degree you can explore many careers in the area of your study and it also puts you in a better place with employers. So I don't think a student should skip the great opportunity of going to college because to meet that's just being lazy and taking the easy way out.
In plan B, they talked about having a back up plan, but to me going to college would benefit in all types of ways. I believe going to college also prepares you not only for your career but the job industry itself. It prepares you for the stress you might run into because you are use to thinking on your feet. These skills can be learned by becoming a college student. So I think its good to have a plan B but you should definitely try to make going to college plan A
